The tale of The Old Man and the Goblins
One of Korea's most-loved goblin tales. Dokkaebi here aren't scary monsters — they're mischievous, friendly spirits who love a good song.
An old man with a big lump on his cheek gets lost in the mountains and stumbles on a goblin feast. When he sings beautifully, the dokkaebi believe his lump is the source — and take it in exchange for treasure. A greedy neighbor tries the same trick, but the goblins are wise to him and stick an extra lump on his face instead.

Our version — We follow the original story closely, but on Chapter 2 you choose which song the old man sings to the goblins — a lively village song or his mother's lullaby. Whichever path you take, the dokkaebi ask where the song comes from, the old man jokes that it comes from his lump, and the canonical ending follows: lump removed, treasure given. The greedy neighbor who tries to copy him — and ends up with TWO lumps — is included as the original's lesson.
